KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) - Two firefighters were injured following a fire in West Knox County Thursday night, according to Rural Metro Fire.

It happened around 7:30 p.m. on Oct. 2 at Cedar Bluff Coin Laundry located in the 400 block of N. Cedar Bluff Road.

Rural Metro says when crews arrived, they saw fire coming from the front side of the laundromat and it was spreading to the roof. Crews were able to access the building to start putting out the fire.

According to Rural Metro, nearby businesses that are in the same building suffered some smoke and water damage but most of the damage was to the laundromat.

All occupants of the businesses were safely evacuated before fire crews arrived.
