MASON, Mich. (WILX) - DeWitt avenged its 1-0 shootout loss from a year ago to Mason with a 3-1 victory over the Bulldogs in the CAAC Gold Cup finals on Thursday.

DeWitt’s junior midfielder Mason Raborn cashed in a pair of goals, and Panthers’ junior Joseph Zubal knocked in the other DeWitt goal. Mason’s lone goal came in the second half from freshman Nicholas Chase.

DeWitt now hosts Waverly to start the playoffs on Oct. 9 at DeWitt High School.
