COLUMBIA, S.C. — The dry weather will continue through the beginning of the weekend , but a change will come by Sunday, when rain chances return as moisture increases across the region.

Skies will clear overnight tonight, setting us up for another cooler morning to start Friday with low temperatures falling into the low to mid-50s across the Midlands. Friday will bring mostly sunny skies with highs in the upper 70s, making for a pleasant end to the work week. Breezy conditions are still possible on Friday, but it will be a little less breezy than the last few days have been.

Friday night, clouds will increase, but the dry weather will continue through the day on Saturday.
