Christ Hospital has opened two new Angel Suites to provide privacy and support for families experiencing stillbirths, thanks to the efforts of the Hayden and Crue Project.
Charla Payne, clinical nursing director for women's health at Christ Hospital, said, "This happens far more often than I think the general public realizes." Advertisement
Payne explained that the suites give families a space to parent, allowing them to change clothes, bathe the baby, and do all the things that would normally happen with a live baby.
The rooms were made possible by the Hayden and Crue Project, founded by best friends Nicole Campbell and Kelsey Hambrick.
