BEAUMONT, Texas — Dozens of supporters gathered at Courville’s Thursday evening for a fundraiser benefiting the Beaumont Farmers Market and its new “Farmers Fund” initiative.
The event featured a multi-course dinner curated by Chic Chef Events and Courville’s, along with live music by Chloe Overstreet.
Proceeds from the $75-per-person tickets will go toward financial assistance for market vendors facing hardships, as part of the market’s in-house grant program, the Famers Fund.
12News Daybreak anchor Tia Johnson served as emcee for the event, held at 1774 Rose Lane in Beaumont.
“The proceeds from this event will be dedicated to supporting our market & our local farmers in their times of hardship through our in-house grant system, the ‘Farmers Fund,’” organizers stated in a press releas
