OWENSBORO, Ky. (WFIE) - A new art and light experience is on the Owensboro riverfront this weekend.

14 News got a first look at Illuminate this afternoon.

It’s an immersive inflatable that people can walk through and inside, there’s a world of color.

That’s just one of the events to take place over the weekend.

There’s going to be even more light displays and an incredible drone show on the riverfront.

Officials say they are looking forward to bringing this to Owensboro for the first time.

“Excited for something new that certainly ties in the arts, but lots of great community partners are part of this like the public school systems the symphony the Bluegrass Museum, music studios, to all showcase their art whether visual arts are performing art,” says Tim Ross, public events director
