AMES, Iowa (KCAU) - Iowa State football has found ways to win week after week, vaulting up to #14 in the newest AP Top 25 Poll while boasting a 5-0 record - with Pierce native and Cyclones tight end Ben Brahmer playing a big role.

The Cyclones junior entered the year with high expectations after finishing 2024 as an All-Big 12 honorable mention despite missing a handful of games due to injury last year.

Brahmer has already outpaced his stats from last season, leading all Cyclones pass catchers with three receiving touchdowns and 16 receptions.

Also, Brahmer completed a 45-yard pass on a trick play in the team's win against Arizona on Saturday, setting the mark for the longest pass completion by a tight end in Big 12 history
