Almost 18 months after the alleged domestic violence homicide of Molly Ticehurst in regional New South Wales, the matter against her accused murderer has again been adjourned in court.
Daniel Billings, 30, is yet to enter a plea to 16 charges relating to the alleged homicide of the 28-year-old mother and childcare worker in her Forbes home in the state's central west in April 2024.
The matter was heard in Parkes Local Court, about 30 kilometres north-east of Forbes, on Friday, where Mr Billings's defence lawyer Diane Elston told the court the parties were at an "advanced stage of negotiation".
"They are in a fragile place, but we have done a lot of work in the last seven weeks since the matter was last before the court,"
Ms Elston said.
Mr Billings, who is in custody, was not required
