VALLEY TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — Four people were hospitalized after a vehicle crashed into a tree west of Allegan Thursday night.
The crash happened just before 9 p.m. on 44th Street north of 116th Avenue in Valley Township, according to the Allegan County Sheriff's Office. A Subaru was headed north on 44th and lost control, crashing into a tree, deputies said.
Five people were in the vehicle. Four of them were taken to hospitals, with two in serious condition, according to the sheriff's office. One was not seriously injured and was released from the scene.
Speed was a factor in the crash, deputies say.
