OREGON - Governor Tina Kotek has announced Sean O'Day as the new director of the Oregon Department of Consumer and Business Services.

O'Day has been serving as interim director since June and has over 20 years of experience in public service.

Governor Kotek praised O'Day's dedication to consumer protection and fair business practices, having held leadership roles across multiple state agencies.

O'Day will remain in his role as acting director until his confirmation vote by the state Senate.
