Weather update today: After several days of intense rainfall, residents in Mumbai woke up to clear and sunny skies, though the IMD has forecast light to moderate rain with gusty winds of 30–40 km/h at isolated locations across the districts. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued alerts for several other states, including Uttar Pradesh , Bihar, Assam , and West Bengal . While some regions in Bihar are on red alert, other states are either on orange alert.
