MANCHESTER, CT. (WFSB) - Red Sox and Yankees fans poured into Murphy’s Pub in Manchester Thursday evening to watch the two rivals collide for the chance to advance in the MLB playoffs.

The Yankees came out on top 4-0, but no matter what side the fans were on, they had a great time at the establishment.

“I came out to Murphy’s tonight obviously to root for my favorite team the Red Sox. No matter the result, I’m going to be proud of them. They had a great season,” said Ryan Stewart, a Red Sox fan.

“I’m feeling great. Right there another big hit Yankees up four nothing. I’m feeling good,” said Mark Osorio, a Yankees fan.

Owner Jack Maloney is a Yankees fan himself, but he knows typically he’s serving more Red Sox fans at the bar.
