GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) - Ripon’s Eric Cumber has a lot of big numbers.

The one he wears on the field every day, the number four, meant to honor the memory of the man that got him into the game, his grandfather.

“I have to give 100 percent no matter the circumstances. I have to always be my best. Be my best as a person, and have good character no matter what the circumstances are. Every day I know I have to make him proud,” said Eric Cumber.

That need to give it all on the field is the mentality of a good football player, of a good running back.

“It’s a mentality, you have to go 100 percent every single play. You make a mistake, you do it 100 percent,’ said Cumber.
