Taylor Swift was obviously inspired by Travis Kelce while making her 12th album, The Life of a Showgirl.

The pop superstar, 35, released her new record on Friday, October 3, and it didn’t take long for fans to find references to the NFL player, also 35.

The album opens with “The Fate of Ophelia,” a poppy song about Kelce revealing on his “New Heights” podcast in July 2023 that he had tried (and failed) to give Swift a friendship bracelet with his phone number on it during her Eras Tour shortly before their romance began.

“I heard you calling / On the megaphone / You wanna see me all alone,” she sings in a nod to him publicly shooting his shot.
