Taylor Swift has expressed her excitement over the release of her new album, The Life of a Showgirl.
In August, the music superstar surprised fans by announcing her twelfth studio album during an episode of New Heights - a podcast co-hosted by her fiancé, Travis Kelce.
On Friday, Taylor took to her Instagram page to confirm The Life of a Showgirl was now available.
"Tonight all these lives converge here. The mosaics of laughter and cocktails of tears. Where fraternal souls sing identical things. And it's beautiful. It's rapturous. It is frightening," she captioned a carousel of photos taken by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott showing her posing in a variety of sequinned showgirl costumes.
Taylor wrote and produced the project with Max Martin and Shellback - marking her first collaboration with the duo since 2017's Reputation.
Accordingly, The Fate of Ophelia singer praised the producers for guiding her with "painting this self-portrait".
"I can't tell you how proud I am to share this with you, an album that just feels so right. A forever thank you goes out to my mentors and friends Max and Shellback for helping me paint this self-portrait," the 35-year-old continued. "If you thought the big show was wild, perhaps you should come and take a look behind the curtain..."
Taylor concluded her post by simply declaring: "The Life of a Showgirl is out now."
The Life of a Showgirl comprises 12 tracks.
Sabrina Carpenter features on the titular song, while the fourth track, Father Figure, interpolates late singer-songwriter George Michael's 1987 single of the same name.
