MURRAY – An individual was transported to Murray-Calloway County Hospital Wednesday afternoon after being involved in a three-vehicle injury collision.

The Murray Police Department said it responded to the intersection of 15th Street and Main streets around 3:22 p.m. Wednesday after a collision was reported. Upon arrival, officers learned that Riley Shirley of Old Hickory, Tennessee was stopped facing south on 15th Street at the stop sign. Another individual said a westbound vehicle on Main Street waved her on, and as she went through the intersection, she struck a vehicle that was traveling east on Main Street. The eastbound vehicle was operated by Caleb Hunter, 18, of Murray, and police said Hunter’s vehicle was forced off the roadway and struck an unoccupied parked vehicle.
