PHOENIX — A motorcycle rider in Arizona accused of fleeing from troopers —reaching speeds of 160 mph while doing so—and posting about the incidents on social media has been arrested, authorities said.
Arizona Department of Public Safety troopers arrested the motorcyclist on Oct. 1 in connection with two incidents on the Arizona Loop 101 in July and August of 2025.
AZDPS claims the driver fled from troopers and, during one of the incidents, reached speeds over 160 mph, and published the incidents online.
Over the past few months, AZDPS has received "numerous tips," authorities said, from concerned citizens who saw the videos the motorcyclist posted online.
