A man has died following a helicopter crash at Bankstown Aerodrome in south west Sydney.
Emergency services were called to the airport on Birch Street at around 1.30pm on Friday after reports of the collision.
Paramedics from NSW Ambulance attended the scene and attempted to treat the man, but he was pronounced dead at the scene.
His identity has not yet been formally confirmed.
A 19-year-old man was also treated by paramedics for serious injuries, including head and facial trauma and a suspected spinal injury, before being transported to Liverpool Hospital in a serious but stable condition, an Ambulance spokesman said.
