Editor’s note: As some of the major issues and decisions that the Grand Junction City Council — like the Fourth and Fifth street project — have been resolved, the Sentinel went to current council members with a quick Q&A on what might be next.

As a preface to my responses, it’s important to emphasize that City Council operates as a deliberative body, not as seven individuals setting direction independently. The questions being asked here are best answered through our collective processes, informed by community engagement and staff expertise. My responses therefore point back to the plans and decisions council has developed together, rather than personal preferences or agendas, because that shared work is what guides the city’s priorities and resource allocation.
