What are the one or two issues you feel are most important to address in the near future?
In July, council held a strategic planning retreat to set the direction that will guide our work for the next two years. We’re now in the process of finalizing that plan for a council vote. The last plan leaned into ideas like placemaking and sustainability. The direction I believe this council will set is different; we’re putting the focus on public safety, housing affordability, maintaining infrastructure, promoting economic growth, and fiscal responsibility
