He's spent more than a decade on the mainland, but now Robbie Fox is set to return home.
The former Sydney Swan has been unveiled as the Tasmania Devils' second signing ahead of their entry into the VFL in 2026.
And his contributions to the Devils won't just be on the field, with the Penguin junior also set to work in the club's commercial department.
"It was probably too good an opportunity to pass up; it's not too often that you can be part of a start-up," Fox said.
"To make my mark off the field and drive revenue and commercial growth, and then pull on the Tassie jumper for the first time in 15 years.
"When I grew up, I didn't have a chance to play VFL in Tassie so to be able to teach these kids how AFL players do certain things, game structure and what it demands [is exciting]."
