Greater Cleveland Conference powerhouses put their unbeaten conference records on the line when the Mentor Cardinals (6-0, 3-0) host the Strongsville Mustangs (5-1, 3-0) at Jerome T. Osborne Stadium on Friday night.

The Cardinals are coming off back-to-back shutouts, including last week’s 35-0 rout of Cleveland Heights behind senior Jackson Farley’s 212-yard, two-touchdown performance, and two more ground scores from senior Dominic Burns.

Strongsville was firing on all cylinders in its 42-14 victory over Medina, showcasing the dynamic backfield tandem of junior standout Kendrick Boddie (153 yards, two TDs) and freshman Austin Tatulinski. Ohio University commit Austin Adkins dominated defensively with six sacks.
