BENGALURU: A gang of about 10 people attacked a family while the latter were getting into their car after visiting the Kateramma temple in Bendiganahalli in KR Pura. The attack was carried out like cinematic style by wielding sticks and other deadly weapons.

According to reports, around 10 accused, including three people identified as Narayana Swamy, Chandru and Kiran, were involved in the attack. The incident occurred due to a long-standing dispute over poperty issues. There was a previous altercation between the two groups and a property case is already pending in court.

The dispute between Chandru and Srinivas is about a compound wall and both parties had filed complaints against each other after a scuffle 3-4 years ago.
