STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Harvest Café officially reopened at 694 New Dorp Lane on Wednesday, Oct. 1, following a year-long renovation . Operated by the nonprofit A Very Special Place, the café celebrated its return with a ribbon-cutting ceremony that marked not only the revival of dinner service for the first time since the COVID-19 pandemic, but also a renewed commitment to providing hands-on restaurant training for Staten Islanders with special needs.

Located across from Miller Field, the café welcomed the community back to a refreshed space that now includes expanded outdoor dining.
