Taylor Swift has revealed her fiancé Travis Kelce "crushed" his marriage proposal. The Shake It Off singer and Kansas City Chiefs player announced in August that they were engaged after two years of dating, sharing pictures from their romantic proposal in a rose-filled garden. Taylor shared more details during an appearance on The Graham Norton Show, revealing that Travis transformed his garden while they were recording her appearance on his New Heights podcast. Showing off the engagement ring, she told host Graham, "He really crushed it in surprising me. While we were talking on his podcast, he had a complete garden built out the back of his house to propose in. He went all out - 10 out of 10." Asked when the wedding is happening, the 35-year-old replied, "You'll know," before adding, "I want to do the album stuff first, and the wedding is what happens after in terms of planning. I think it will be fun to plan." Taylor references her relationship with Travis several times on her new album, The Life of a Showgirl. In the risqué song Wood, the pop superstar sings about his "magic wand" and knowing that "a hard rock is on the way", and on Wi$h Li$t, she opens up about wanting "a couple of kids" and asking God to bring her "a best friend who I think is hot". Meanwhile, Eldest Daughter features the lyrics, "I'm never gonna let you down / I'm never gonna leave you out / So many traitors / Smooth operators / I'm never gonna break that vow / I'm never gonna leave you now, now, now." On the same song, she admits that she was lying when she said she didn't believe in marriage. During her appearance on the talk show, the Blank Space singer was asked if all the songs were inspired by her life, and she replied, "I am open about things, but in recent years, I have a different perspective and like storytelling at a little bit of a distance, so it isn't like doing a complete autopsy of myself." She also shared that Travis and her father Scott Swift are big fans of her song Opalite, which is about "making your own happiness", and that she used the album to stop her from "hitting a wall" when she was "sick and worn down" during The Eras Tour. Taylor's interview on The Graham Norton Show airs in the U.K. on Friday night.
