OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - It’s another morning in the 60s as you head out to start Friday. We’ll again surge into the lower 90s with abundant sunshine, breezy wind and a little humidity. These highs are near 20 degrees above average.

South wind gusts today will get up near 25 mph at times this afternoon. It will be a hot dry breeze though.

More summer warmth is likely Saturday with even stronger wind. A SSW wind, slightly lower dew points and quite a bit of sunshine will send us into the low 90s again. This is also the day when a record is within reach.

There is a small chance of a spotty shower early Saturday morning along with a few clouds. Those should fade quickly and then we’ll warm. SSW wind gusts will be at their strongest Saturday too. Gusts of 30-40 mph are likely most of the day.
