The City of Readlyn has announced that they will be flushing their fire hydrants next week, weather permitting. The flushing will begin on Monday and last through Friday. During that time water pressure may vary and the water may become discolored. The discoloration does not affect the taste or water quality and there is no health hazard associated with it. Those that experience the discoloration should run the cold water until the water becomes clear again. The City recommends not washing laundry during the day while the hydrants are being flushed.
