It's one of sports’ oldest cliches - ‘we win together, we lose together’. But for Derek Cornelius , it doesn’t quite fit. ‌

Because as far as the Rangers defender is concerned, collective responsibility starts at home. ‌

The Canadian international is not about to start pointing fingers in public in some futile attempt to explain away the calamitous mistakes that once more sent Russell Martin’s team careering towards defeat in Graz on Thursday night. ‌

But he certainly hopes that each and every one of the men that sit around him in the Ibrox dressing room are this morning taking a long hard stare in the mirror and asking themselves if they really are doing all they can to drag Rangers out of the hole the club now finds itself wedged in.
