New Delhi : Prime Minister Narendra Modi will unveil a series of youth-focused initiatives worth more than Rs 62,000 crore on October 4 at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi, aimed at boosting education, skilling, and entrepreneurship across the country. The event will also mark the fourth edition of the Kaushal Deekshant Samaroh, where 46 All India ITI toppers will be felicitated.

A key highlight will be the launch of PM-SETU (Pradhan Mantri Skilling and Employability Transformation through Upgraded ITIs), a centrally sponsored scheme involving Rs 60,000 crore investment for upgrading 1,000 government ITIs nationwide under a hub-and-spoke model. With support from the World Bank and ADB, the project will integrate industry-led management, innovation centres, and placement services.
