We don’t normally write about weekend heat waves in October, but here we are. Temperatures are expected to soar across most of the state this weekend, reaching into the 80s and even flirting with 90 degrees in some spots by Saturday afternoon.
It’s likely some areas will tie or break some record daily high temperatures.
It will stay warm and dry into Monday, then the weather pattern switches to rain - and cooler temps. It will be an abrupt change back to fall.
