Vladimir Putin's top scientist has claimed that the West will create a killer virus that will eliminate the human race – apart from a select few. Those killed will then be replaced with robots, according to his theory. ‌

Mikhail Kovalchuk, head of Russia's Kurchatov nuclear research institute, made the claims while speaking at a teacher's forum in Moscow. Expanding on these claims, he added that western countries, such as the UK, have been plotting behind the scenes to unleash a deadly virus. ‌
