PLAINFIELD, Conn. (WFSB) - A Plainfield man is facing multiple charges following a domestic dispute that led to a police response and a shelter-in-place on Thursday evening.
According to Plainfield police, officers responded to a 911 call around 7:07 p.m. on Oct. 2 reporting a domestic incident at a residence on River Street.
When officers arrived, they spoke with the victim and her children, who reported that 38-year-old Clinton Czikowsky was heavily intoxicated and acting aggressively.
The victim also informed officers that Czikowsky owned firearms that were still inside the home.
Out of caution, police advised the victim and children to relocate to the Plainfield Police Department while nearby residents were asked to shelter in place.
