An appeal has been launched to find a class A drugs supplier on the run from the law after not turning up to court.
Kasam Hussain was given a 14-year sentence at Leeds Crown Court last month for playing a leading role in supplying 11kg of cocaine as well as other offences. He was bailed to appear before the court earlier this year, where he was standing trial for drug and money laundering offences. However, the 38-year-old, formerly of Wrenbeck Drive, Otley, did not turn up to the trial.
Hussain was found guilty in his absence of conspiracy to supply of cocaine and cannabis as well as being concerned in the production of cannabis.
