Channing Tatum believes Marvel fans are going to "physically lose their actual minds" watching Avengers: Doomsday. The Magic Mike star made his debut as Gambit in 2024's Deadpool & Wolverine, and he is set to return as the card-throwing superhero in 2026's team-up movie, Avengers: Doomsday. Teasing the blockbuster, Tatum told Entertainment Tonight that comic book fans will not be prepared for the mind-blowing moments in the movie. "They (Marvel) set a bar for themselves (with) every movie, and they beat it every single movie," he said. "And I can tell you this, as I was reading it, I was like 'No. What? How are they going to do this? I don't understand how they're going to do this.'" He continued, "You're just not ready. I don't know how to describe it to you. It's going to make your brains ooze out of your ears." Tatum added that Doomsday will make fans "physically lose their actual minds", like when Wesley Snipes walked on-screen for his cameo as Blade in Deadpool & Wolverine. "It's that, but I don't maybe times 50 because it's going to be one of them things," he teased. "As a comic fan, you're just not ready. You just ain't ready." Avengers: Doomsday will star Marvel regulars Chris Hemsworth, Tom Hiddleston, Sebastian Stan, Anthony Mackie, Paul Rudd and Robert Downey Jr., although the latter is playing a villain character, Victor Von Doom/Doctor Doom. Other cast members include Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen, Florence Pugh, Letitia Wright, Vanessa Kirby and Pedro Pascal. The film will be released in cinemas in December 2026.
