CIRCLEVILLE – Circleville Police officers responded to 30 calls for service on Thursday, October 2, ranging from routine patrols to thefts, domestic disputes, and a late-night burglary.

The day began with several extra patrols on North Court Street, West Main Street, and surrounding areas. Around 3:45 a.m., officers investigated a suspicious person report on Shadwell Drive, which was turned over to another agency. Minutes later, police were called to Pontious Lane for suspicious circumstances, but no one was located.

At 5:54 a.m., officers made an arrest in connection with a reported theft on Second Avenue. Later in the morning, police responded to an injury accident and 911 hang-up on North Court Street, where a citation was issued. Additional reports included a domestic dispute on Eas
