Ahmedabad: Opener KL Rahul ended a nine-year wait for his second Test century in India, reaching the milestone on Day 2 of the first Test against the West Indies at the Narendra Modi Stadium on Friday (October 3).

Rahul brought up his century with a single off the fifth ball of the 65th over, taking 190 deliveries to reach the three-figure mark. His innings featured 12 crisp boundaries and anchored India’s first innings after a solid start.
