HASTINGS, Neb. (KSNB) - Good morning and happy Friday! Temperatures this morning are starting mild in the mid to upper 50’s and low 60’s. Winds are light this morning but will pick up into the afternoon to around 10 to 20 mph. Temperatures warm this afternoon into the upper 80’s to low 90’s. Sunny skies are expected through tomorrow afternoon. Winds stay breezy into the overnight hours, but will pick up into the afternoon to around 20 to 35 mph with gusts up to 40+ mph. Dry conditions with a relative humidity around 30 to 35 percent across western Nebraska will lead to elevated fire concerns tomorrow afternoon with the warm temperatures and strong gusty winds.
