Major update on Government policy to reduce car insurance bills View Image
The Government has provided an update on its work to tackle soaring car insurance premiums. Costs have fallen over the past year and a half, although they remain 25 per cent higher than they were three years ago. Labour MP Darren Paffey submitted a written parliamentary question asking what steps the Government is taking to combat motor insurance fraud and ghost brokers.
Ghost brokers are scammers who sell fake car insurance or home insurance policies that either don't exist or are invalid. Cabinet minister Dan Jarvis provided a response from the Government.
