ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Students at dozens of Albuquerque schools will get a look at some of this year's balloons as part of "Albuquerque Aloft."
Nearly 200 balloonists will visit schools across the metro to let children get up close and personal with the balloons. It gives the kids a chance to chat with the pilots and other crew members before seeing a balloon launch. Schools with limited space will get to see the 'Globitos' which are smaller remote controlled balloons.
