Xavier Worthy finally got back on the field, and it came with a win. The Chiefs wideout sidelined since Week 1 after an awkward collision with Travis Kelce on a crossing route left him injured. At the time, Kelce stepped up and said he would “take the most accountability” for what happened. But now, Worthy is finally opening up about how he feels about his star teammate.

When Rich Eisen asked him on his show whether the two ever spoke about the play, Worthy didn’t hesitate. “Yeah, me and Trav definitely talked about it. I mean, Trav’s my guy, and Trav knows that, like, regardless, it’s football. It happens, so never want to put that on Trav. So, it’s just always, it’s good to have somebody like that in the corner.” That answer put any doubt to bed. No tension. No resentment
