ACCOMACK COUNTY, Va. (WAVY)-- A teen faces several charges for shooting into an occupied house in Parksley.
On September 22, deputies were called to Staunton Avenue just before 5 a.m. for the report of shots fired. When deputies arrived, they discovered a residence, that was occupied by two people, had been struck by gun fire.
As part of the investigation, on October 2, deputies executed a search warrant in the 21000 block of Cardinal Acres. Officials recovered multiple firearms during the search.
As a result, 19-year-old Cayden Allen Smith was arrested. He faces the following charges: • Shooting into an Occupied Dwelling • Shooting from a Vehicle to Endanger Persons • Possession of a “Sawed Off” Shotgun or Rifle
He is currently being held at Accomack County Jail without bond.
