Los Angeles Rams star running back Kyren Williams cost his team a valuable victory, and in doing so, he also pissed off thousands of gamblers with his late-game fumble against the 49ers.

Los Angeles was trailing 23-20 with 1:07 left and had a first-and-goal at the 3-yard line. Williams got the ball and tried to punch it into the end zone. He failed. Not only did he not get there, but the ball got punched out, and the 49ers recovered the fumble.

The giveaway cost the Rams the lead and the opportunity to win the contest in regulation, which changed the entire trajectory of the game.

Some gambling fans online think something else was at play. One fan thinks it was a fake fumble, which allowed Las Vegas to ultimately come out with a massive victory when it came to the over/under on the game
