On October 1, Fort Saskatchewan’s Crime Reduction Unit and General Investigation Section with assistance from Central Alberta RCMP conducted three arrests which revealed a significant quantity of drugs and a stolen firearm.

During the investigation, RCMP trailed a suspect to a business in Northeast Edmonton, where they were arrested without incident. Following a search of the person and vehicle, police located 137 grams of methamphetamine, 350 mL of GHB (a common date rape drug), 7.5 grams of fentanyl, $900 in Canadian currency and a firearm that had previously been reported as stolen to the Fort Saskatchewan RCMP.

Three adults have been charged in relation to this investigation.
