After plenty of sunshine, Corpus Christi is expected to have more than a week of rain starting Oct. 3.

The National Weather Service of Corpus Christi said there will be a 20% chance of showers after 2 p.m. Oct. 3, but how long will the rain last in the Sparkling City by the Sea?

Here's the forecast though Oct. 11:

Oct. 4: There will be a 30% chance of showers during the day and a 20% chance at night. The high will be near 89 with a low around 74.

Oct. 5: There will be a 20% chance of rain during the day, with a high near 88. The evening will have a low around 74.

Oct. 6: There will be a 20% chance of rain during the day, with a high near 89. The evening will have a low around 73.
