NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - The suspect in a deadly shooting from Thursday night at an Antioch apartment complex claims he thought he opened fire on another man.

According to the Metro Nashville Police Department, a 42-year-old man was fatally shot in the parking lot of the Waterleaf Apartments on Old Franklin Road on Thursday night.

The accused shooter, 22-year-old Dorian Brooks, was arrested Friday morning and charged in the deadly shooting.
