KENTUCKY, USA — Several Catholic schools were recently recognized as some of the top Catholic schools in Kentucky, and many of them are located in Louisville.

Niche ranked the best Catholic schools in Kentucky based on a rigorous analysis of key statistics and millions of reviews from students and parents. Ranking factors included the quality of colleges that students consider, student-teacher ratio, Catholic school ratings and more.

SAT and ACT scores were not considered in this year's rankings to "reflect a general de-emphasis on test scores in the college admissions process," Niche analysts said.

Five Louisville schools made the list of the top ten best Catholic schools in the Bluegrass State.
