Three-time Super Bowl champion Bruce Arians, Virginia Tech icon Bud Foster and former Hokies receiver Eddie Royal headline the eight-member committee searching for the Hokies’ next head coach.

Tech unveiled the panel Friday morning, nearly three weeks after dismissing Brent Pry three games into his fourth season leading the program. Also Friday, the school posted a podcast of 12th-year athletic director Whit Babcock answering questions from Hokies radio voice Bill Roth.

Embattled after his two football coaching hires in Blacksburg, Justin Fuente and Pry, fizzled, Babcock is not serving on the search committee. But on the podcast, he told Roth that he will advise and coordinate the panel and handle interactions with the agent community.
