LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - We have previously introduced you to the oldest Home Depot employee in the country, who works in Louisville’s Westport Road store.

JoCleta Wilson turns 101-years-old on October 4, 2025.

It was a year ago when we first interviewed JoCleta, who works from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m., two to three days a week, as a cashier. She does it to communicate with people. Since that story aired on WAVE, many others around the country soon learned about her.

“I don’t know why, but it did. It erupted,” JoCleta said.
