Kendell Brooks , one of the five safeties the Pittsburgh Steelers hosted for a visit earlier this week, is signing with the Tenneseee Titans . Pittsburgh hosted five safeties after losing rookie Sebastian Castro to the Buccaneers.
For Brooks, this is a homecoming. He has been with the Titans on and off a few times since 2024. An undrafted free agent out of Michigan State in the 2023 NFL Draft, Brooks has played for the Titans, Arizona Cardinals, Indianapolis Colts, and Washington Commanders, but has spent most of his time in Nashville.
Brooks has just one tackle in his NFL career.
The Steelers have yet to sign anyone from that tryout crop and still have a spot open on the practice squad, but with no more practices during the bye week, it is not urgent to sign a player to the prac
