SOUTH BEND, Ind. (WNDU) - The Notre Dame football team will be without one of its wide receivers this weekend.

According to our reporting partners at the South Bend Tribune , junior wideout Jaden Greathouse has been ruled out of Saturday’s home game against Boise State due to a right thigh injury.

Our WNDU 16 Sports team is told he suffered the injury late this week during practice, but he isn’t expected to miss too much time.

Greathouse, who was a breakout player during last season’s College Football Playoff run, has just four receptions for 73 yards this year. He had two catches for 41 yards in the home-opener loss to Texas A&M and added two more for 32 yards last week at Arkansas .

Wisconsin transfer Will Pauling is expected to take over Greathouse’s snaps in the slot position
